Tonsil Stones - What An Odor!

by Linda Wells
(Longview, Washington)

I've had tonsilloliths since I was a small child. I'm 58 years old now. When I would cough up one when I was a child, I would tell my mom who told me that she got them, too.

Until today, I didn't know what they were called or what caused them, although I had an idea that they were coming from my tonsils. I just thought an overabundance of stuff was in my tonsils and just needed to come out.

They do smell AWFUL! I know I've had bad breath for quite awhile and haven't been able to get rid of it, although I'm an avid tongue scraper.

It's nice to know there are a lot of other people who have the same problem.

I created this Web site in August 2006 to help others avoid the consequences of bad breath and other oral hygiene problems.

Thank you one and all for helping it become the success it is today.

And a big thank you, as well, to the "SBI!" software that made it possible.

If this site has helped you, I'd like to hear about it.
