Thanks for posting your tonsil stones story. I've got to admit, the last part about the giant stone caused my gag reflex to kick in.
Have you had any problems with bad breath as a result of your tonsil stones? Most tonsil stone sufferers report a horrible, putrid odor emanating from their mouths until they get the stone out. After they get the stone out, they report that it's the stone itself issuing the same odor and causing the bad breath.
Thanks again for posting!

giant tonsil stone by: Anonymous
I first got tonsil stones 7 years ago when I got tonsillitis. I had white spots all over my tonsils. After about 6 months I got them again when I got strep throat. Then a few months later I noticed them, but I wasn't sick. So I went to the doctor anyway, so that I wouldn't have to wait the weekend to get medication if I came down with strep. This doctor told me that I wasn't sick, I just had scar tissue that collects bacteria and stuff. That is what the white things are. He told me that it was like puss and you could squeeze it out. I thought that was pretty cool, so for years, whenever I notice one of those guys in my tonsils I lightly squeeze it out of there. It's kinda gross, but I think they are interesting, not that I want to look at anyone else's. Anyway, it doesn't really bother me and I usually don't feel the need to tell anyone about it, but I recently had the biggest tonsil stone that I had ever had in my life. It was the entire length of my tonsil. WOW I was amazed because usually they are pretty small. I almost wanted to save it and show it to people, but I knew that it would be gross to everyone else. And it would kinda be gross just to save it.
