My First Experience With Tonsil Stones

I am ten years old now and have had tonsil stones since I was seven. I was in class the first time I had a tonsil stone. While I was sitting in class, I felt something in my throat, and I really wanted to know what it was. It was a big nuisance, so I had to cough. All of sudden, a cauliflower-shaped lump came out of my mouth. I smelled it, and it smelled HORRIBLE. The teacher noticed it, and I felt very embarrassed.

When I got home, I told my mom the whole story about what happened in class. She told me that it was my sinuses. I believed her because, whenever I have a cold, I always clear my nose by drawing mucus through my nostrils, and then it ends up in my mouth.

Another time I felt one in my mouth again, so I went to the bathroom and looked in my mouth, and it was the same smelly lump lodged in my tonsil. Finally, I came to my right mind and realized that it was a tonsil stone. I told my mom. She took one look at my tonsil and realized it was a tonsil stone.

I went to my E.N.T specialist who gave me the TheraBreath kit. And now my tonsil stones are gone for good.
